You can obtain a Nepal tourist visa upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport. Visa application booths are available in the arrival hall. The fees are as follows:

  • On the Trek: Stay in local tea houses with twin-share rooms. Private attached bathrooms are provided from Lukla through Namche Bazaar. In higher stops like Tengboche, Lobuche, Dingboche, and Gorak Shep, rooms have shared bathrooms.

Hot showers and WiFi are available at some tea houses for an extra fee. Our guides can assist in arranging these services upon arrival if available.

Meals 

Your trek includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner each day. Tea houses offer a menu with local Nepali dishes like daal bhaat (rice, lentils, and vegetables) and Western options such as pasta and sandwiches. Luggage 

Pack light to ensure a comfortable hike. Non-essential luggage can be stored securely at your Kathmandu hotel. The flight to and from Lukla allows for 10 kg (22 lbs) checked baggage and 5 kg (11 lbs) hand carry. Porters can carry up to 9 kg (20 lbs) per trekker.

Regular Day on the Trek 

Each trekking day offers stunning views and new experiences. After breakfast from 7-8 am, you’ll pack your day pack and set out with your guide. Expect friendly local interactions, rich cultural insights, and beautiful landscapes.

After 3-4 hours of hiking, you’ll enjoy a hearty lunch and continue trekking for a few more hours to reach your tea house accommodation. Evenings can be spent relaxing with tea or a game of cards.
